For making a pond in a terrarium, you can apply many methods. This is the user’s will and the design sense you want to include in the project. We have shortlisted some necessary steps for our readers’ betterment, which will be much easier for beginners to perform for making this pond. The steps are simplified below.

• Step One

First, gather the things you’ll need to run the entire process. You’ll need a glass tank or bottle, but make sure it’s easily accessible. Then you’ll need some alcohol rub. You’ll need plenty of water for this process. You’ll also need some black foam, which will act as an adhesive and filler. You’ll need some stones and a water pump. Besides, you’ll need some sand, tank substrate, geotextile, felt, and moss.

• Step Two

After you manage all this, you should get to work. At first, you have to clean the glass box’s interior using an alcohol rub. Once the inside is cleaned, you must apply silicon on the entire wall to which you want to attach the substance. Then you have to let the silicon dry for some time. After the silicon dries, you must scrape the extra from the glass wall using a normal scrapper. Now your surface is prepared for the attachment of objects.

• Step Three

You have to take the black foam and apply them to the wall of the glass bottle. This will act as the base of your mountain. This is required because the water pump will be situated on the hill. Then you must place the water pump through the hill and check the workability by pouring some water into it. After that, you must start attaching the geotextile around the mountain’s edge. This will help to keep the water from leakage.

• Step Four

You can use a glue gun for such an attachment. Now you have to use some felt at the bottom of the glass and then add sand. Before adding the sand, you have to put cardboard to separate the sand. Then you have to pour some tank substrate and then remove the cardboard. You will get the base of your pond. Now you have to apply some moss to the black foam wall and then pour water into the bottle. At last, you have to release some moss into the pond’s water. In this manner, you can easily make a pond in the terrarium.
