Step 1 – Buy a Desilvering Kit

There are several types of desilvering kits in the market. So, get one from there based on your requirements. They aren’t going to cost you too much money. You also have to buy a paint stripper based on the type of your kit. In this case, you have to follow the information of the kit properly because each kit comes with its own techniques.

Step 2 – Using a Hobby Paint

You are going to need a hobby paint for this project. There are several types of reflective paint, too, in the hobby stores. So, you can easily get one from there. Make sure to buy a good and start repairing your mirror with that. You just have to detach the glass from the frame, clean the affected area properly, and apply the paint. Make sure to shake the pen properly. Put two layers of paint at least because after drying the first layer, the spot may still be visible to you partially.

Remember, the above method is only going to be useful if your mirror’s coating has got spoiled. If the glass needs to be repaired, you should follow some other techniques, and these aren’t going to be useful then.

If the glass is completely damaged, then there are no other ways to repair them. So, if yours has become damaged too, I will suggest you start looking for a new one instead of wasting time on repairing them. However, hopefully, the above steps are going to be way more helpful for you.
