Separate The Shop Rags The first step is to separate the shop rags. This way, you will be able to wash the shop rags easily without worrying about damaging any of them.

How to Wash Shop Rags

Procedure

For this method, you will have to gather some elements. At first, you will need a bucket. The bucket should be big enough to accommodate all the shop rags. Then you will need some industrial purple cleaner. This is much important because the shop rags are always used to wipe oils and heavy machinery liquids. So the industrial cleaners can be much useful. Then you will need some essential dishwasher liquid. You can quickly obtain them from the market. And the most important thing that you will need to make the process accelerated is a pressure washer.

If you do not have a pressure washer, you can use your hands to wash the cloth, but that will be much tedious and time-consuming. So it is better to gather all these elements and then get to work. At first, you have to fill half of the bucket with water. The water should be fresh tap water without any debris. You have to add some industrial purple cleaner to the water, and you have to add some regular dishwasher liquid to the solution. There is no amount specified for the mixture proportions, but we prefer you to add at least two cups of each solution.

You can increase the amount of liquid you use depending on the condition of the shop rags. To clean them, dip the rags in the liquid and let them soak for three to four hours. It’s best to do this at night so the rags can soak overnight, then in the morning you can finish the process. Make sure all the cloths are fully immersed in water; you’ll know the detergent is working when the water starts to turn dark.

After the immersion period, you have to place the shop rags on a smooth surface, and then you have to sue the pressure washer. You have to apply the pressure washer in the rags, and gradually the detergent that is attached to the rags will start to come off. In this way, you will wash the total rag, and then you have to fill the bucket with clean water again. Then you have to immerse the clean rags in the water and stir them. Gradually the water will wash the cloths. You have to dry the shop rags, and eventually, you will observe the rags free of stains.
