  • Step One

At first, you have to separate blossoms that are faded from the typical plant. This is much necessary because the plants will keep on spending their energy to grow new seeds from these blossoms, so to conserve plants‘ energy and nutrition, this is much necessary. When you separate the faded blossoms, this energy will be used for next year blooming.

  • Step Two

Now you have to take a clean knife, and the blade must be sterilized. This will help you to reduce the spread of diseases around the garden. The pests and fertilizers that may remain attached to the knife should be removed. Then by using the knife, you have to slice through the blossoms. The blade must be sharp, the cutting will not be accurate, and the blossoms might get ruined.

  • Step Three

In this way, you will slice the faded blossoms by using the knife, and then you have to discard it forms the main plant. Afterward, you have to store the blossoms in a seedbed or culturing box to use them next year to grow new plants.  After the slicing is completed, you should add the blossoms to the soil.

  • Step Four

Now you have to plant the blossoms, and then you should not remove the foliage. These stems will surely keep the plant-feeding until it as obtaining the required growth.
